We offer a fun mix of AcroDance, Modern Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary, even Ballet, Street Dance, Kpop and Tap, designed to help children build strength, flexibility, coordination, and creativity — while developing confidence and having fun!
What class fits my child’s age?
👶 Tiny Tots (Ages 2–4) – Dance together with parents
🌟 Mini Movers (Ages 4–6) – Build confidence & independence (parents welcome to stay)
💃 Dance Explorers (Ages 6–9) – Independent dancers ready to shine
How long are the classes?
Tiny Tots & Mini Movers – 30 minutes

Each class is limited to 8 -10 children to ensure quality teaching, safety, and personal attention for every dancer.
👟 What to Wear & Bring
What should my child wear?
Comfy clothes such as leggings, shorts, or t-shirts are perfect. Bare feet or socks are fine (please note socks can be slippery).
Do they need dance shoes?
Not yet — bare feet are perfect for now!
Can my child wear a tutu or costume?
Of course! As long as they can move freely and comfortably, a touch of sparkle is always welcome. ✨
What should we bring to class?
A labelled water bottle and a big smile!
👩👧 Parent Involvement
Can parents stay and watch?
Absolutely! Parents are welcome to stay and watch, especially for younger classes.
For Tiny Tots, parents join in the fun! For Mini Movers, you can stay until your child feels comfortable dancing independently.
Can I bring siblings?
Yes, siblings are welcome to stay — and may even join in a few fun moments if it helps keep things cheerful and engaging. 💕
🩰 Trials & Enrolment
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes please! Spaces are limited and classes fill up quickly.
How do I book a trial?
Simply complete our Trial Class Registration Form here:
How much is a trial class?
Usually £5, but we do offer discounts or FREE trial from time to time, so STAY TUNED to our social media!!
What happens after the trial?
You will receive a follow-up email with the registration form. If your child enjoys the class, just complete the form and payment, then your child is all set for the class.
💰 Payment
How Can I Pay for Classes?
Option 1 – Square (Online Payment) 💻
After submitting your trial or registration form, you’ll receive an invoice by email.
Just follow the link to pay securely through Square, our trusted online payment platform.
Option 2 – Bank Transfer 🏦
Prefer to pay manually? You can make a direct bank transfer instead.
You’ll receive our bank account details in your trial confirmation email or welcome letter once your form has been submitted. Your child’s place will be confirmed once payment is received and verified.
When will payment be collected?
For trial classes, payment is due upon receiving your invoice to secure your child’s spot.
For term enrolments, payment is collected in advance of the first class of each term — usually within 5–7 days of receiving your Square invoice or bank transfer details.
Will I receive an invoice or a receipt?
Yes! Every family receives a Square invoice or payment confirmation by email for your records.
Do you offer refunds if we miss a class?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes. However, if a class is cancelled by D For Dance, Dance Academy, we’ll always provide a make-up class or credit.
Can I pay per class instead of per term?
For new families, we offer a trial class so you can make sure your child enjoys the session before committing. After that, we highly recommend term payments to secure your child’s place and maintain our small, high-quality classes. However, we understand that things come up — so if you know your child will be absent or need time off, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to arrange a suitable option for you.
Can siblings be paid for together?
Yes! If you have more than one child joining, we can combine their invoices for convenience — just note this on your registration form or email us after signing up.
🏫 Venue & Safety
Where are classes held?
All classes take place at: King George V Pavilion, Sutherland Avenue, Bristol BS16 6QW
Is the venue child-friendly and safe?
Yes! The Pavilion is a clean, secure, and family-friendly space with plenty of space for movement and easy parking.
Are you insured and DBS checked?
