Our First Ever Performance at Bristol Pride 2026 🌈
At D FOR DANCE Academy, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow in confidence, express themselves, and experience the joy of dance.
This year marks a very special milestone as we prepare for our first ever public performance at Bristol Pride 2026.
Although a team of six dancers will be representing our academy on stage, this performance has truly been a whole-school effort. Throughout the term, all of our dancers have been learning and practising the routine together during class. While not everyone is performing this time, every child has played a part in the journey, supporting one another, learning new skills, and celebrating each other’s progress.
Our rehearsals have been filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. As we work towards the performance, we’re not just learning choreography—we’re building confidence, resilience, stage presence, and friendships.
Taking part in Bristol Pride is especially meaningful to us. It reflects the values we strive to nurture at D FOR DANCE Academy: kindness, inclusivity, respect, and celebrating every individual for who they are. We want every child to feel welcome, valued, and proud to be themselves.
For our six performers, this will be an exciting opportunity to share everything they’ve been working on with the wider community. For the rest of our dancers, we hope watching their teammates succeed will inspire them to take part in future performances. There will be many more opportunities ahead, and we can’t wait to see our performance team continue to grow.
To all of our families, thank you for your continued encouragement and support. Whether your child is performing on stage this year or cheering from the audience, you are all part of the D FOR DANCE family, and this achievement belongs to every one of us.

Bristol Pride is a vibrant celebration of equality, diversity and community, featuring live performances, family-friendly activities, food, entertainment and much more throughout the day. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible to support our dancers and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere together.
