Meet Our Guest Teachers

Miss Katy is a recent graduate of The Brighton Academy, where she earned a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.

Originally from Bristol, she has returned to share her passion for the performing arts with the next generation. Katy has trained extensively in dance, singing, and acting, holding ISTD qualifications in Ballet, Tap, and Modern, as well as a UWLQ qualification in Music Theatre Singing.

She currently teaches singing, dancing, and acting at Stagecoach and is also a commercial dance teacher for Funk It Up Dance. Alongside teaching, Katy continues to perform professionally, making her professional debut as Princess Jasmine in Aladdin last Christmas. This festive season, she will return to panto as Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk. She also recently performed as a singer and dancer in K-Pop Fever.

Katy is delighted to be a guest teacher at the D For Dance Academy Summer Workshop and looks forward to inspiring and nurturing every student’s unique talent.
